Main Tournament

- Registration: Thursday May 1, 11.30 - 13.30 hrs.
- Tournament System: 6 rounds, McMahon, European Tour regulations apply
- Time limit: 1½ hrs., Canadian byo-yomi, 10 stones in 5 min.
- Rules: Japanese
- Komi: 6½ points

Two one-day Rapid Tournaments on Saturday and Sunday

- Especially for visitors that can't play in the main tournament
there will be two one-day Rapid Tournaments over 5 rounds each on
Saturday from 11.30 till 17.00 hrs. and on
Sunday from 10.30 till 16.00 hrs.
- Time limit: 30 min., no byo-yomi
- Japanese handicap
- Entry fee to be paid on the spot: 5 €
- * The organization and prize money of the Rapid Tournaments is sponsored by

Expert commentary by professional go players!
|
- There will be two professional players available for commentary on the most interesting games.
- Kang Seung-Hee (2p) will be present every day, Guo Juan (5p) will be present part of the time.
- You will also have the possibility to ask them for commentary on your own games.
- Maybe some time will be left for simultaneous games.

- How to get there with public transport:
From Amsterdam Central Station take tram 5 or 51, get out at tram stop Kronenburg, or take bus 170 or 172, get out at bus stop Graaf Florislaan.
From Amsterdam Amstelstation take tram 51, get out at tram stop Kronenburg.
From Amsterdam WTC (World Trade Centre) take tram 5 or 51, get out at tram stop Kronenburg.
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport take a train to station World Trade Centre (WTC) (not Central Station, CS), take tram 5 or 51 there, get out at tram stop Kronenburg.
From Utrecht Central Station or Haarlem NS Station take bus 125, get out at bus stop Graaf Florislaan.
- How to get there by car:
From motorway A10 exit Amstelveen: at the end of the exit (traffic lights) turn left, direction Amstelveen. The street you are on (Amstelveenseweg) changes its name to Amsterdamseweg as soon as you enter the city of Amstelveen. At the first traffic lights in Amstelveen (at the corner you see furniture shop Artihome) turn left into the Graaf Florislaan. After crossing the little bridge turn right. After the next crossing you will see the Go Centre.
From motorway A9 exit 5 (Amstelveen): at the end of the exit turn north, direction Amsterdam, into Keizer Karelweg.
After a number of traffic lights the street becomes the Amsterdamseweg.
At the first traffic lights in Amstelveen (at the corner you see furniture shop Artihome) turn right into the Graaf Florislaan.
After crossing the little bridge turn right. After the next crossing you will see the Go Centre.
- There is enough free and safe parking space available right next to the EGCC.
- Parking for disabled people only in the courtyard of the EGCC.

- It's recommended to arrange your accommodation in Amsterdam as early as possible.
Amsterdam is a very touristic city and whatever kind of place you are planning to stay at will be overbooked during the period of the tournament.

This camping is not far from the tournament site. 24 places have been reserved in 6-person cabins at € 10 p.p.p.n.

How to get there with public transport: from the Go Centre walk to bus stop Graaf Florislaan (7 min.), take bus 172 (13 min.) and get out at "het Schinkeldijkje", or just walk the whole way...
